Exam Invigilator – British Council (Cameroon)

About the role

The British Council seeks reliable Invigilators to support the delivery of a variety of UK examinations across its test centres in Cameroon (Yaounde, Douala, Bamenda, Buea). You will work closely with British Council staff and venue partners to ensure each test day runs smoothly and securely.

Key responsibilities

• Report to the test venue at the agreed time and notify staff promptly of any delays.
• Follow all British Council and exam‑board standards, procedures, and emergency protocols.
• Invigilate examinations, monitoring candidates to prevent any breach of test conditions.
• Assist the supervisor in providing a positive candidate experience and uphold the British Council’s reputation.
• Securely account for all exam materials and hand them over to the supervisor at the end of the session.
• Complete accurate records, logs, reports, and claims as required.

• Familiarity with exam security and emergency procedures.
