Finance Manager – FX Trading Operations (Cameroon)

About the role

Mamoru is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead its FX trading operations in Cameroon. You will oversee the daily functioning of the trading desk, ensure regulatory compliance, manage risk exposure, and guarantee timely settlement of transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and manage daily, monthly and year‑end accounts.
• Oversee middle and back‑office activities of the trading desk, monitor market movements and provide analysis.
• Ensure compliance with local FX policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Develop and implement operational policies to improve efficiency, security and customer satisfaction.
• Manage settlement processes for FX trades, including trade confirmation reconciliation and payment verification.
• Liaise with banks, payment service providers and other external parties for FX and cross‑border payments.
• Monitor and control risk exposure, set limits, track positions and report breaches.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions, reports and audits.
• Train and supervise staff on operational best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in FX trading or payments operations, preferably in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of Cameroon’s FX banking regulatory environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• High level of integrity, professionalism and ethics.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

• Proficiency with FX trading platforms and related software tools.
