Grant and Partnership Officer – Yaoundé

About the role

The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is seeking a Grant and Partnership Officer to support the continuity of its humanitarian programmes in Cameroon. Based in Yaoundé, you will work closely with the Grants Coordinator and Area Managers to ensure high‑quality, compliant programming through effective sub‑grant management and partner due diligence.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Grants Coordinator in the partner selection process, from calls for proposals to contract signing.
• Develop and monitor partnership agreements, teaming agreements, MOUs and related annexes.
• Map potential partners, provide induction and capacity‑building support, and ensure partners adhere to NRC’s Partnership Guidelines and Codes of Conduct.
• Coordinate the integration of partner inputs into donor proposals and programme development.
• Review partners’ narrative and financial reports with relevant NRC staff.
• Support external donor audits and contribute to the development of NRC’s country partnership strategy.

Required profile

• Experience in grant management, partnership development or related humanitarian coordination.
• Familiarity with NRC partnership policies, humanitarian principles and core values.
• Ability to conduct due‑diligence assessments and ensure compliance with donor requirements.
• Strong coordination skills to work with programme, finance and logistics teams.
