Logistics Assistant

About the role

The Logistics Assistant supports the delivery of logistics services in line with International Medical Corps policies, donor and host country regulations. The role involves office, fleet, and security support across main and field offices.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily office activities, monthly payments, and maintain office stock inventory.
• Conduct regular field visits to update stock sheets and coordinate procurement.
• Assist with weekly fleet movement planning, driver assignments, and field schedule compilation.
• Support the security manager by monitoring situations, informing staff, and updating security documents.
• Help prepare logistics reports and contribute to fraud prevention efforts.

Required profile

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 6 months experience in procurement and/or logistics.
• Good interpersonal and team skills, ability to work in multi‑ethnic teams and harsh, remote conditions.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
