Marketing and IT Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Marketing and IT Assistant to support our business development and internal IT operations in Yaoundé. This hybrid position combines 60% marketing activities with 40% first‑level technical support, offering a dynamic environment for a candidate who enjoys both client‑facing and technical tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and research potential clients, prospect new customers via phone, email and social media, and schedule meetings.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and presentations, maintain the CRM database and follow up on sales opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, support marketing campaigns and help achieve business development targets.
• Provide first‑level support for hardware, software and network issues, including installation, configuration and routine maintenance of desktops, laptops and printers.
• Manage user accounts, password resets, software installations and system updates.
• Perform data backups, basic cybersecurity practices and maintain IT asset inventory.
• Troubleshoot connectivity problems and escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Business Administration, IT, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in a hybrid marketing/IT support role or similar.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software installation, networking and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems is an advantage.
