National Consultant – I Am Music Program (4 positions) – Yaoundé

About the role

UNICEF is recruiting four national consultants to support the “I Am Music” programme in Yaoundé. The consultants will help deliver free music education to vulnerable children and adolescents, with a focus on girls, and contribute to a protective learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of music‑based activities across selected localities.
• Support the scaling of the programme to additional sites in Cameroon.
• Coordinate with national stakeholders, schools and community partners to ensure smooth delivery.
• Monitor progress, collect data and contribute to reporting on outcomes.
• Provide technical input on curriculum adaptation and inclusive practices.

Required profile

• Cameroonian national with a background in music education or related fields.
• Experience working with children, adolescents or vulnerable groups.
• Familiarity with community‑based projects and stakeholder coordination.
• Strong communication skills in French and English.
