Senior Reintegration Associate – G7 (Yaounde)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Senior Reintegration Associate to coordinate EU‑funded reintegration activities for returnees along the central Mediterranean migration route. Reporting to the National Reintegration Officer and under the supervision of the MHPSS Officer and Chief of Mission, the incumbent will ensure timely implementation and monitoring of the project in Cameroon.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the National Reintegration Officer in coordinating and monitoring project implementation in line with IOM policies and donor requirements.
• Establish and manage data‑collection mechanisms, overseeing classification activities of reintegration assistants.
• Review, set up, and monitor reintegration procedures and related forms.
• Develop and apply a monitoring and evaluation (M&E) framework for the reintegration process.
• Support information management and collaborate with communication colleagues on visibility and awareness‑raising activities.
• Prepare progress reports and ensure effective information exchange with the EU, IOM, and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to capacity‑building plans for governmental and non‑governmental partners.
• Supervise reintegration assistants in Yaounde and coordinate with local implementing partners.
• Participate in steering committee meetings, seminars, and represent IOM at relevant events.
• Undertake site visits and duty travel as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, Law, International Relations or a related field.
• Relevant experience in project coordination, monitoring and evaluation, and data management within humanitarian or migration contexts.
• Demonstrated ability to work under supervision while taking ownership of tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of French is an asset.
