Volunteer Advocacy, Grant Writing & Social Media Manager

About the role

Globe Watch Foundation is seeking dedicated volunteers to support its mission of human‑rights education, social inclusion and climate justice. Three distinct volunteer positions are available: Advocacy & Communication Officer, Grant Writing & Fundraising Manager, and Website & Social Media Manager. All roles are based onsite in Yaounde, Cameroon.

Key responsibilities

• Advocacy & Communication Officer: develop advocacy campaigns, produce communication materials, and engage stakeholders on human‑rights and climate issues.
• Grant Writing & Fundraising Manager: research funding opportunities, draft grant proposals, and coordinate fundraising activities.
• Website & Social Media Manager: maintain the organization’s website, create and schedule content for social media platforms, and monitor online engagement.

Required profile

• Strong commitment to human‑rights, gender equality and climate justice.
• Excellent written communication in English (French is a plus).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a youth‑led, diverse team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
• Experience using a Content Management System such as WordPress.
