About the role
The Business Development Manager will design and execute the company’s outbound sales and business development strategy across designated markets. Reporting to senior leadership, the role oversees commercial operations, including sales, distribution, promotional activities and team management to drive sustainable growth.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all sales and marketing activities across assigned territories.
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Drive product promotion, market penetration and ensure product visibility.
- Build and maintain a coordinated sales network of distributors, wholesalers, retailers and field representatives.
- Identify new clients, distributors and market opportunities to expand market share.
- Set sales targets, monitor performance and conduct regular sales reviews.
- Supervise the sales team, set SMART objectives and track KPIs.
- Participate in Sales & Operations Planning, prepare forecasts and support the Annual Operating Plan.
- Execute joint customer plans and monitor business performance through analysis and reporting.
Required profile
- Proven experience in sales, business development or commercial management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage multiple sales channels.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to monitor market trends and competitor activities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for building long‑term client relationships.
- Results‑oriented mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets.
