About the role
The FMCG Sales Supervisor will lead a dynamic sales team to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the fast‑moving consumer goods and personal care sector. Based in Yaoundé, you will develop strategic action plans, nurture key client relationships, and drive overall business growth.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise, motivate and guide the sales team to exceed sales targets.
- Monitor performance, conduct regular evaluations and set clear work plans.
- Design and implement sales strategies to increase market share and brand presence.
- Track and analyse sales metrics, reports and market trends to identify opportunities.
- Train new hires and continuously coach team members for improved effectiveness.
- Maintain strong partnerships with key clients, distributors and retail partners.
- Monitor competitor activities and recommend proactive commercial actions.
Required profile
- 7+ years of experience in FMCG or personal care wholesale, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Commerce or a related field.
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets, generating revenues of USD 1 million or more.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities in both English and French.
- Strong market insight and ability to develop tailored sales strategies.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
