Hermessi places AI‑enabled Operations Managers with high‑growth founders in the US. As the Business Operator you will run the day‑to‑day business, allowing the founder to focus on vision and strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Run the operational rhythm: schedule meetings, set priorities, track deadlines and ensure follow‑through.
• Own and report key business metrics, distilling data into clear updates for the founder.
• Filter problems, requests and decisions, escalating only those that truly require founder input.
• Handle fire‑drill situations, delivering solutions without unnecessary escalation.
• Lead strategic projects from concept to delivery, such as onboarding improvements or hiring plans.
• Manage cross‑functional initiatives that lack clear ownership.
• Prepare founders for high‑stakes moments (investor calls, board meetings, client presentations) with research, briefing documents and talking points.
• Oversee team members, run stand‑ups, enforce accountability and ensure timely delivery.
• Own the recruiting funnel end‑to‑end, presenting only final shortlists to the founder.
• Represent the founder in external communications with customers, vendors, partners and investors.
• Manage budget decisions, vendor contracts, contractor payments and track expenses.
• Handle financial operations such as invoicing and expense reporting.

Required profile

• Proactive operator who can run a business independently.
• Strong sense of accountability and ability to own metrics.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills, especially under pressure.
• Experience managing teams and cross‑functional projects.
• Comfortable preparing high‑visibility materials for investors and boards.
