Supply Chain Advisor

About the role

The Supply Chain Advisor will support the Senior Technical Advisor in strengthening the availability and management of HIV and malaria commodities across Cameroon’s public health supply chain. Acting as the primary deputy, the Advisor will lead technical operations, coordinate with national stakeholders, and drive solutions to prevent stock‑outs.

Key responsibilities

• Support national and regional forecasting, quantification and supply planning for HIV and malaria diagnostics, therapeutics and laboratory commodities.
• Compile and analyse consumption, stock, service delivery and program data to inform commodity requirements.
• Identify supply gaps, overstock, expiry risks and delayed deliveries, and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with the National AIDS Control Committee, National Malaria Control Program, Directorate of Pharmacy, Medicines and Laboratories, CENAME and other partners.
• Lead technical working groups, provide guidance, training and supportive supervision to strengthen capacity.
• Monitor supply risks and implement practical measures to avoid disruptions.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in public‑health supply chain management, preferably with HIV or malaria commodities.
• Proven ability to work with multiple national stakeholders and lead technical discussions.
• Strong analytical mindset and ownership of key workstreams.
