About the role

The organization is seeking a senior professional to lead the software operations sector, focusing on the administration, performance, and reliability of Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Oracle 11g and PostgreSQL databases, including installation, upgrades, and patching.
• Monitor database health, performance, and capacity; develop and improve monitoring solutions.
• Analyze and optimize SQL queries, indexes, tablespaces, and overall database architecture.
• Design, implement, and maintain backup, recovery, and replication strategies using Oracle RMAN and Data Guard.
• Lead high‑availability and fault‑tolerant solutions, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Support ETL processes, data import/export procedures, and maintain internal documentation.
• Collaborate with developers and other IT units on data storage, management, and performance issues.
• Develop and enforce data backup and recovery policies.

Required profile

• Higher education in programming, IT, automation, or a related mathematical field.
• At least one year of hands‑on Oracle database administration experience.
• Proven experience with high‑load databases, performance tuning, and OS parameter optimization.
• Understanding of relational data models and replication concepts.
