Logistics Manager – Kribi, Cameroon

About the role

The Logistics Manager will be based at CIMPOR's plant in Kribi and will oversee a heavy‑duty fleet of around 30 trucks. The role ensures smooth import flows, customs clearance, port operations, and the efficient distribution of cement across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily operations of the company’s truck fleet.
• Supervise loading, unloading, and inland transportation activities.
• Oversee clinker and raw‑material import processes.
• Optimize cement distribution to meet customer demand.
• Liaise with customs authorities, port officials, and other key stakeholders.
• Control logistics costs and drive cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on fleet utilization.
• Lead, coach, and develop the logistics team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Engineering.
• 10–15 years of logistics experience, with at least 7 years in a managerial role.
• Strong background in port and heavy‑industry logistics.
• Proven experience managing large truck fleets.
• Excellent cost‑control and operational management abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a high‑pressure, multi‑stakeholder environment.
