Primary Care Nurse – Community Treatment Service

About the role

The NHS Ayrshire and Arran is seeking a Primary Care Nurse to join its Community Treatment Care (CTAC) service within the North Health and Social Care Partnership. Working across local GP practices, you will deliver person‑centred nursing care as part of an integrated multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and provide quality nursing care to patients in community and treatment room settings.
• Deliver defined nursing interventions to a defined cluster population.
• Collaborate with General Practice staff and wider multidisciplinary teams.
• Travel between GP practices using a UK driving licence.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (newly qualified or experienced) interested in primary/community care.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
• Willingness to undertake the Ayrshire Graduate Nurse development programme.

Required skills

• UK driving licence (essential for travel between practices).
