Grant & Partnership Officer – Yaoundé, Cameroon

About the role

The Norwegian Refugee Council is seeking a Grant & Partnership Officer to support high‑quality, compliant programming with its partners across Cameroon. Based in Yaoundé, you will work closely with the Grants Coordinator and Area Managers to manage sub‑grants, conduct due diligence, and strengthen sustainable partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the country partnership strategy in line with NRC global policies.
• Coordinate partner selection, from calls for proposals to due‑diligence and contract signing.
• Assist in drafting concept notes and donor proposals in collaboration with relevant departments.
• Support external donor audits and ensure partners meet NRC partnership guidelines.
• Map potential partners, facilitate inductions, and coordinate capacity‑building activities.
• Prepare and review partnership agreements, MOUs, and contractual annexes.
• Integrate partner inputs into proposal development and monitor compliance with donor requirements.

Required profile

• Experience in grant management, partnership coordination, or similar roles within the humanitarian sector.
• Strong understanding of NRC partnership policies, humanitarian principles, and donor compliance.
• Ability to work collaboratively with program, finance, and administrative teams.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
