Product Engineer – Build AI-powered SaaS for Short-Term Rentals

About the role

We're looking for an ambitious Product Engineer who wants to turn real customer problems into intuitive, reliable software. You’ll collaborate closely with founders, designers, and property‑manager operators to identify priorities, build solutions, and iterate based on real usage.

Key responsibilities

• Understand customer workflows, identify friction points, and decide which problems to solve.
• Take features from idea through design, frontend, backend, integration, testing and deployment.
• Design intuitive user interfaces that simplify complex short‑term rental operations.
• Build event‑driven automation engines that eliminate repetitive tasks such as cleaning scheduling and guest communications.
• Develop AI‑powered features using LLMs and agents for guest messaging, maintenance triage and pricing support.
• Create and maintain reliable APIs and integrations with platforms like Airbnb, Hostaway, Stripe, Twilio and OpenAI.
• Measure product impact with customer feedback and usage data, iterating to improve adoption and efficiency.
• Make technical decisions that balance speed, maintainability, security and scalability as the platform grows.

Required profile

• Strong experience building and shipping production software.
• Ability to work across both frontend and backend systems.
• Experience with React, TypeScript, Python and FastAPI or similar frameworks.
• Deep understanding of APIs, databases, integrations and cloud architecture.
• Product mindset with curiosity about why users need a feature.
• Confidence collaborating directly with customers, designers and founders.
• Independent work style with ownership of outcomes.
• Interest in AI, automation and operational efficiency.
