CAD Drafter

About the role

The CAD Drafter is responsible for creating, inspecting, and finalising technical drawings according to client requirements and internal work instructions. The role supports senior CAD staff, project managers and engineering teams to ensure design quality and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed drawings based on sketches and engineering designs, following instructions from senior CAD drafter, project manager or estimating manager.
• Inspect and verify drawings against client specifications, recreating drawings when necessary to compare before‑and‑after states.
• Visit project sites in Indonesia to confirm drawing completeness and identify any missing information.
• Maintain and store documentation related to drawing construction and progress reporting.
• Support equipment inspection, including paper, ink and other drafting tools.
• Perform any other reasonable duties directed by senior staff within your skill set.

Required profile

• Minimum diploma or equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of experience as a CAD Drafter, preferably with on‑site exposure.
• Relevant certifications for the specialization are preferred.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Indonesia and support head‑office when needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D is an advantage.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret technical drawings based on client requirements.
