Commission Sales Associate

About the role

The Commission Sales Associate is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Douala I. The role is centred on driving revenue for VATIS Travel Services by promoting its travel, ticketing, group travel, airport and cargo services. You will work closely with operations and customer‑service teams to ensure a seamless client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and contact prospective individual and corporate clients, build and maintain relationships, and close sales in line with company targets.
• Prepare accurate quotes, explain service options, follow up on leads, and document bookings and transactions.
• Collaborate with operations and customer‑service teams to guarantee smooth delivery of travel, airport and cargo services.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records and reports using booking tools and office software.

Required profile

• Strong sales and negotiation abilities with a proven track record of prospecting, presenting services and closing deals.
• Excellent customer‑service and relationship‑management skills for both individual and corporate clients.
• Basic knowledge of travel, ticketing and airport procedures; prior experience in travel or airline services is a plus.
• Effective written and verbal communication, high professionalism, integrity and ability to work on‑site in Douala.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, able to work under commission‑based incentives and meet targets.
