Division Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Division Accountant to join our automotive retail group. You will be responsible for managing the financial records of a specific division, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile division ledger accounts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal controls.

Required profile

• Relevant accounting qualification (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA).
• Experience in a similar accounting role, preferably within retail or automotive sectors.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
