Electrical Trainer – Technical Skill Development Centre

About the role

The Technical Skill Development Centre (TSDC), created by PT ODG Indonesia, seeks an experienced Electrical Trainer to deliver hands‑on, industry‑aligned training in electro‑technology. You will guide trainees toward job‑ready competencies through both theory and practical sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment for all participants.
• Design and deliver innovative, hands‑on training sessions covering electro‑technology skill sets.
• Develop lesson plans, assessments and provide constructive feedback to support trainee development.
• Collaborate with curriculum developers, fellow trainers, the centre principal and trainees to ensure effective outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with institutional policies, quality standards and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum D3/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s in Educational Technology is a plus).
• At least 5 years of experience in electro‑technology and 2+ years in vocational training or course development.
• Completed electrician training program (certificate preferred).
• Strong communication skills in English and Indonesian.
• Growth‑oriented mindset with interest in future curriculum coordination.
