Transaction & Business Manager – Asset Disposal

About the role

Globeleq is seeking a Transaction & Business Manager to support the Managing Director in executing asset disposal processes and coordinating key priorities across its YieldCo portfolio. The role is based in Douala, Cameroon, and involves frequent travel and extended stays on project sites.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate due‑diligence activities, manage data rooms and collate transaction documents.
• Draft and review transaction documentation in partnership with legal and financial advisors.
• Track milestones, deliverables and timelines to keep disposals on schedule.
• Engage with government authorities, regulators and potential buyers, preparing briefing materials and follow‑up actions.
• Prepare reports and presentations for the Managing Director, Board and senior leadership.
• Monitor operational performance of assets during transition, flagging risks and issues.
• Maintain detailed cash‑flow forecasts and liaise with local and corporate finance teams.
• Conduct financial analysis, valuation modelling and scenario planning to support decision‑making.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (legal, finance, operations, external advisors) to ensure alignment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in transaction execution, asset disposal or related business operations.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret financial data and risk factors.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including interaction with regulators and senior executives.
• Willingness to travel frequently and stay on‑site for extended periods.
