Volunteer UI/UX Designer

About the role

CodNesta Academy is seeking a full‑time remote volunteer UI/UX Designer to shape the visual and interactive experience of its educational platforms. You will work closely with the team to create inclusive, user‑centric designs that support the Academy’s mission of accessible learning.

Key responsibilities

• Design intuitive interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Develop wireframes, mockups, and visual prototypes.
• Ensure consistent, seamless user experiences across all platforms.
• Collaborate with product, content, and development teams to translate user needs into design solutions.
• Contribute to front‑end visual elements and design implementation.

Required profile

• Proficiency in UX and UI design principles.
• Experience creating visual designs and mockups.
• Familiarity with front‑end development concepts.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for education, accessibility, and social impact.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Previous work on educational or social‑impact projects is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field preferred.
