About the role
Orgamu Scoops is seeking a hands‑on Assistant Farm Manager to help run its organic oyster mushroom farm in Bambili, Bamenda. You will support daily farm operations and ensure high‑quality production.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee substrate preparation, bagging and pasteurisation processes.
- Monitor incubation and fruiting rooms for temperature, humidity and hygiene.
- Lead harvest, grading and packaging activities.
- Supervise farm workers and maintain production and sales records.
Required profile
- Background in agriculture or agronomy, or hands‑on farm experience (mushroom experience a plus).
- Organised, reliable, hygiene‑minded and able to lead a small team.
Required skills
- Substrate preparation and bagging.
- Pasteurisation techniques.
- Temperature and humidity monitoring.
- Harvesting, grading and packaging of mushrooms.
