Business Developer

About the role

The Business Developer will drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, prospecting potential clients, and building strong relationships with existing customers. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, while representing the company’s technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new clients and market opportunities.
• Develop and execute commercial prospecting strategies.
• Generate leads through field prospecting, networking, referrals, and digital channels.
• Present the company’s products and digital solutions to prospects.
• Understand client needs and propose suitable solutions.
• Manage the sales process from prospecting to negotiation and closing.
• Negotiate commercial terms while protecting company interests.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, identifying upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.
• Explore new markets, sectors, and strategic partnership possibilities.
• Keep an up‑to‑date database of prospects, clients, and sales activities.
• Prepare regular sales and activity reports for management.
• Provide feedback from prospects and customers to improve offerings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Management, Commerce or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in business development, sales or commercial prospecting.
• Proven track record in commercial prospecting; experience selling technology or digital solutions is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic business tools.
• Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
• Ability to use digital prospecting tools and sales reporting systems.
• Strong presentation and communication abilities in English and French.
