CFS Supervisor

About the role

The CFS Supervisor will lead warehousing and cargo handling activities at Maersk’s depot, ensuring safety, efficiency and compliance with operational standards. You will coordinate teams, manage resources and act as the main point of contact for customers and logistics partners.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehousing and cargo handling operations, adhering to procedures and standards.
• Promote a safe working environment through toolbox talks, equipment checks and safety best practices.
• Plan and allocate operational teams to meet productivity targets and deadlines.
• Ensure accurate billing of services and proper documentation.
• Manage equipment and resources required for stuffing, dressing and destuffing activities.
• Interact with customers, customs brokers, port authorities and logistics partners.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives and support incident investigations.
• Assist the commercial team in maintaining and developing customer relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics or port management.
• Proven experience in warehouse/logistics operations, including CFS, with team‑leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of cargo handling processes and a lean, continuous‑improvement mindset.
• Intermediate proficiency in English.
• Ability to plan, allocate resources and work under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Familiarity with logistics/operational systems such as WMS or TOS.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
