Chief Information and Communication Technology Officer

About the role

The Chief Information and Communication Technology Officer (CICTO) provides strategic and operational leadership for the Group’s centralized ICT department. Reporting to senior management, the CICTO drives the three core pillars – IT Infrastructure, Applications & Systems Development, and Artificial Intelligence – to ensure technology fuels regional expansion and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee IT Infrastructure across all Group entities, guaranteeing stable, secure connectivity, hardware standards, and business continuity through backup and disaster‑recovery processes.
• Lead Applications & Systems Development, modernising the software ecosystem, directing custom‑software teams, and executing the Group‑wide ERP rollout.
• Define and execute an AI strategy that embeds intelligent capabilities into core business processes and the ERP platform.
• Develop and enforce ICT governance, policies, procedures, and authority matrices, ensuring financial oversight and compliance.

Required profile

• 15‑20 years of experience in the Information Technology / ICT domain.
• Strong strategic transformation, stakeholder management and financial acumen.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field; Master’s degree (MBA or specialised ICT) highly preferred.
• Professional certifications such as TOGAF, ITIL, COBIT, PMP/PRINCE, CISSP, CISM, CEH, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Architect, Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP/Oracle ERP, or Digital Transformation credentials.
