Clinical Dietitian – Acute Care (Hourly)

About the role

Join a leading healthcare nutrition team in Detroit and provide Medical Nutrition Therapy in an acute‑care environment. You will work collaboratively with clinicians to improve patient outcomes through evidence‑based nutrition care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Deliver nutrition education to patients, families, staff and the community.
• Apply current research and diet manuals to ensure consistent, high‑quality care.
• Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
• Collaborate with food service management to meet patient satisfaction goals.
• Mentor dietetic interns and support staff development as needed.

Required profile

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR‑eligible Licensed Dietitian.
• Willingness to obtain state licensure if required.
• Healthcare experience preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply.
