Clinical Doctor – Site Project Coordinator

About the role

The Clinical Doctor, Site Project Coordinator will support the management of an HIV project and improve delivery of clinical HIV services in health facilities within the Littoral Region. The role blends medical expertise with project coordination, ensuring that integrated HIV care and treatment services are provided efficiently and to high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and submit a budgeted monthly work plan aligned with project objectives, timelines, and indicators.
• Implement the work plan, monitor budget usage, and ensure activities are completed on schedule.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on site to achieve project goals.
• Organise in‑service training sessions and conduct formative supervision for health‑care providers.
• Lead weekly and monthly coordination meetings, and present feedback to hospital leadership.
• Monitor data collection, reporting systems, and evaluate facility performance on HIV/AIDS care.
• Prepare monthly activity and expense reports.
• Support implementation of national HIV/AIDS programme guidelines, including antiretroviral therapy, index case testing, and management of treatment failure, TB/HIV co‑infection, and advanced HIV infection.

Required profile

• Medical degree with experience in HIV clinical care.
• Strong background in project coordination, planning, leadership, and scheduling.
• Excellent communication, conflict management, and cost‑control abilities.
• Proficiency with project management tools and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
