Commercial Project Manager – Onsite

About the role

PCI Pharma Services is seeking a Commercial Project Manager to lead customer projects from concept through delivery. The role serves as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring projects meet timelines, budgets, and regulatory requirements while maintaining high client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end program delivery for assigned projects using appropriate planning tools.
• Communicate milestones, critical path activities, and assign responsibilities to internal and external teams.
• Act as the primary customer liaison for timeline, budget, and expectation management.
• Support Business Development with quote and proposal reviews.
• Assist with supply agreements, contracts, and purchasing authorizations.
• Collaborate on component and artwork changes, verify pricing, and communicate variances.
• Lead project‑team and technical kick‑off meetings.
• Forecast and control project expenses, generate invoices, and maintain supporting documentation.
• Review and approve packaging specifications, suggest design solutions, and ensure compliance.
• Coach, mentor, and supervise Associate Project Managers.
• Facilitate lessons‑learned sessions and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Analyze contribution and gross margins, meet budget objectives, and report adjustments.
• Organise quarterly business reviews and manage customer visits.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex customer projects in a regulated environment.
• Strong ability to communicate with internal teams and external clients.
• Demonstrated competence in budget forecasting, expense control, and invoice generation.
• Experience reviewing and approving technical specifications, particularly packaging components.
• Leadership skills to coach and supervise junior project managers.
• Ability to drive continuous‑improvement and capture lessons learned.
