Finance & Administrative Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a Finance & Administrative Assistant to support the EpiC Cameroon project, a US‑funded initiative focused on HIV epidemic control, health‑system strengthening and related health services. The role reports to the Finance Officer and works closely with the Zonal Clinical Advisor, handling both financial and administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain accounting record‑keeping systems for tracking project expenditures.
• Process daily payments and ensure they are approved in line with FHI 360 procedures.
• Assist the Finance Officer in preparing financial reports, audit documentation and compliance reviews.
• Collect, verify and reconcile financial data, maintaining accurate records.
• Prepare routine documents, manage filing systems and handle mail distribution, photocopying and other office technology tasks.
• Support inventory management, research and data compilation for project reporting.

Required profile

• Ability to work under the supervision of the Finance Officer and coordinate with clinical advisors.
• Strong attention to detail for data verification and record management.
• Familiarity with handling US government‑funded project finances.
