Finance & Administrative Assistant – Project Support

About the role

The Finance & Administrative Assistant will support the EpiC Cameroon project, a PEPFAR‑funded initiative aimed at HIV epidemic control and broader health system strengthening. Reporting to the Finance Officer and working closely with the Zonal Clinical Advisor, you will ensure accurate financial management and smooth administrative operations for this high‑impact health program.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records and procedures for tracking project expenditures.
• Process daily payments and ensure they comply with FHI 360 financial policies.
• Assist the Finance Officer in preparing financial reports and audit documentation.
• Collect, verify, and reconcile financial and project data.
• Manage project documentation, filing systems, and record‑keeping.
• Handle routine office tasks such as mail distribution, photocopying, and greeting visitors.
• Support inventory management and procurement processes.

Required profile

• Experience in finance or administrative support, preferably in the non‑profit or health sector.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with financial data accurately.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Basic accounting and bookkeeping knowledge.
• Familiarity with financial reporting and audit procedures.
• Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets).
• Effective record‑keeping and file management.
