Food Services Manager

About the role

The Food Services Manager is responsible for maintaining strong customer relationships by providing technical expertise and support for food and beverage production. The role involves advising customers, handling technical issues, and ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Advise customers on product and production issues, prepare production instructions and blending recommendations.
• Develop technical action recommendations, support B2C production at customer sites, and handle microbiological support, culture media usage, and process controls.
• Document processes, deliver technical training, and support scale‑up activities with the manufacturing plant.
• Implement internal and regulatory requirements such as HACCP, food safety, occupational health and safety, and environmental protection.
• Plan resources, monitor budgets, and drive continuous standardisation and optimisation of processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Food Technology, Food Chemistry or a related field.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Several years of experience in the food and beverage industry, ideally in a technical or commercial position.
