Glass Sales Representative

About the role

The Glass Sales Representative will drive sales and acquire new clients within the glass market in Douala. The role demands strong product knowledge, negotiation expertise, and a focus on delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, identify, and acquire new clients such as construction firms, contractors, architects, and homeowners.
• Build and maintain a sales pipeline to meet monthly and quarterly targets.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share.
• Deliver persuasive presentations and product demonstrations.
• Serve as primary contact for an assigned client portfolio, providing technical advice on glass specifications.
• Handle customer complaints and after‑sales service issues promptly.
• Process orders from quotation to delivery and coordinate with production, logistics, and installation teams.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and follow up on payments.
• Conduct market research, analyze sales data, and submit regular reports with recommendations.

Required profile

• Advanced level degree (minimum requirement).
• At least 2 years of proven B2B or B2C sales experience, preferably in glass, construction materials, or building products.
• Honest, reliable, and professional representation of the company.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and resilient under pressure.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of different glass types and specifications.
• Proficiency with CRM software.
• Competence in Microsoft Excel.
• Competence in Microsoft Word.
