HR Manager – Human Resources Leader

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will define, lead, and implement the company’s HR policy, aligning it with strategic objectives. The role focuses on developing human capital, optimizing performance, ensuring legal compliance, and fostering an engaging work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and tools tailored to operations.
• Drive talent management, skills development, and recruitment processes.
• Support managers in team development and participate in payroll coordination.
• Ensure compliance with the Cameroon Labor Code, manage contracts, personnel files, and disciplinary actions.
• Monitor absences, leaves, staff movements, and internal HR communications.
• Manage employee relations, resolve conflicts, and promote company values.
• Track HR indicators such as turnover, absenteeism, recruitment, and performance, providing regular reports.
• Administer health insurance programs, process claims, and ensure timely benefit delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Law, Management or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably with a legal background.
• Team management experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership, decision‑making, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• High integrity, professionalism, and ability to handle pressure and priorities.

• In‑depth knowledge of Cameroonian labor law.
• Expertise in recruitment techniques and talent management.
• Performance management and HR policy development.
• Proficiency with HR tools, HRIS, and standard office software.
