Inbound Material Planner

About the role

Nestlé Cameroun is seeking an Inbound Material Planner to manage procurement transactions and ensure the timely supply of raw and packaging materials. The role supports internal stakeholders, drives tactical procurement activities, and maintains accurate documentation in SAP and Easy Buy.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain agreed service levels with internal stakeholders.
• Execute tactical procurement for non‑Easy‑Buy items, including competitive bidding and negotiation support.
• Implement sourcing strategies with the strategic buyer to achieve the lowest total cost of ownership.
• Prepare and verify all procurement documentation (pro‑forma, contracts, PO forms, etc.) in SAP or Easy Buy.
• Initiate vendor master data, manage down‑payment processes, and follow up on PO approvals.
• Monitor daily deliveries of raw and packaging materials, reschedule delayed deliveries, and inform stakeholders.
• Track stock levels at the warehouse to ensure material availability.
• Convert open purchase requests into purchase orders promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, supply planning or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar procurement or material planning role.
• Analytical, proactive mindset with strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese (written and spoken).
