Logistics Officer

About the role

Logivo is looking for a detail‑oriented Logistics Officer to join its Douala team on a fixed‑term basis. The role is central to coordinating shipments, handling documentation and ensuring smooth supply‑chain flow to support operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics and transportation operations.
• Monitor sea and air freight shipments.
• Prepare, verify, and manage logistics documentation.
• Follow up customs procedures and cargo clearance processes.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, shipping lines, and logistics partners.
• Ensure timely execution of logistics activities.
• Maintain accurate logistics records and reports.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within logistics operations.
• Provide operational reporting when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (minimum BAC+3) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation or a related field.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding or supply‑chain operations.
• Professional proficiency in French and English.

• Strong knowledge of logistics operations.

• Experience handling logistics documentation.
