About the role
Evidence Action is seeking a Manager, Field Operations to lead Monitoring, Learning & Evaluation (MLE) activities for its programs in West and Central Africa (Nigeria, Liberia, Cameroon). This one‑year contract role will ensure high‑quality data collection, analysis, and use across the sub‑region.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and streamline MLE support for all programs in the sub‑region.
- Develop, review and track monitoring plans, ensuring they are cost‑effective and aligned with program goals.
- Interpret MLE results and facilitate data‑driven decision‑making for program teams.
- Represent the MLE team in meetings with partners, government stakeholders and implementing agencies.
- Collaborate with MLE Strategy and Delivery teams to maintain a unified understanding of sub‑regional data.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing MLE or monitoring and evaluation functions in international development or health programs.
- Strong ability to work across multiple countries and coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical mindset with a focus on data quality and impact measurement.
- Ability to design and implement efficient monitoring systems within budget constraints.
