Night Auditor

About the role

The Night Auditor will oversee all overnight operations at K HOTEL Douala, a luxury property located in the Bonanjo district. The role combines front‑desk duties with financial reconciliation to ensure a seamless guest experience throughout the night.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the front desk during night hours, greeting and assisting guests.
• Verify and reconcile all financial transactions recorded during the shift.
• Record daily charges, prepare night audit reports, and ensure accuracy of accounting data.
• Maintain the hotel’s service standards and brand guidelines for a luxury environment.
• Ensure guest safety, comfort, and satisfaction throughout the night.
• Make decisions in line with established procedures when issues arise.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Bac+2/3) in hospitality or hotel management.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a night auditor or similar front‑desk role.
• Strong hospitality attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work morning/evening shifts and holidays.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Professional presentation and ability to work independently at night.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel management software, specifically Opera.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Office.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
