Nurse Site Project Coordinator

About the role

The Nurse Site Project Coordinator will support the management of an HIV project and improve clinical HIV service delivery in a health facility. This position blends project coordination with hands‑on nursing to ensure high‑quality, integrated HIV care.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and submit a budgeted monthly work plan aligned with project objectives.
• Implement the work plan efficiently, monitoring timelines, budgets, and quality.
• Facilitate collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and organize in‑service training sessions.
• Conduct formative supervision and ongoing training for health‑care providers.
• Lead weekly and monthly coordination meetings and monthly feedback meetings with hospital leadership.
• Monitor data collection, reporting systems, and overall performance of HIV/AIDS care.
• Prepare monthly activity and expense reports.
• Support implementation of national HIV/AIDS guidelines, including antiretroviral treatment and advanced HIV infection care.
• Promote Index Case testing and strategies to retain people living with HIV in care.

Required profile

• Registered nurse with experience in HIV clinical services.
• Proven background in project coordination, planning, leadership, and scheduling.
• Strong communication, conflict‑management, and cost‑control abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project management tools.
• Knowledge of antiretroviral treatment protocols.
• Experience with index case testing procedures.
