Physical Education (P.E.) Teacher

About the role

The Physical Education Teacher will design and deliver engaging, inclusive PE programmes that develop students' fitness, sporting abilities, teamwork and healthy lifestyle habits. Working within Enko Education’s network of international schools, the teacher will create a safe, supportive environment for learners of all ages and abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver structured PE lessons tailored to students' ages and abilities.
• Teach a variety of sports, physical activities and fitness programmes.
• Develop students' physical, social and teamwork skills.
• Assess performance, provide constructive feedback and maintain attendance records.
• Promote healthy lifestyles and positive attitudes towards sport.
• Ensure safety by inspecting equipment, supervising activities and applying first‑aid procedures.
• Adapt activities for students with diverse needs and abilities.
• Organise and supervise sporting events, competitions and extracurricular activities.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and participate in school events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Physical Education, Sports Science, Education or a related field.
• Relevant teaching qualification (advantageous or required where applicable).
• Previous experience teaching PE or working with children/students.
• Knowledge of sports, fitness and basic first‑aid/safety procedures.
• Strong communication, organisation and classroom management abilities.
• Ability to motivate and engage students.
