Portfolio Manager, Inclusive Health Initiative (French Speaking)

About the role

The Portfolio Manager will support the design and delivery of Inclusive Health Initiative (IHI) programmes, ensuring they align with country programme goals and global best practices in eye health, ear and hearing care, and physical rehabilitation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide programmatic support in project design, ensuring alignment with IHI strategy and best practices across assigned countries.
• Guide IHI project planning, monitor implementation, contribute to evaluations, and ensure lessons learned inform future planning.
• Deliver training to country office and partner staff on inclusive health topics and develop high‑quality funding applications.
• Monitor policies, trends, and research to inform programme implementation and promote evidence‑based adaptive management.
• Represent CBM’s learning and quality initiatives to donors, technical working groups, and development partners.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Development Studies or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of international development experience, including at least 3 years in health programmes.
• Strong understanding of international health policy frameworks and project cycle management.
• Fluency in French and English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to disability inclusion, safeguarding principles, and alignment with CBM’s Christian values.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
