Poultry Farm Manager – Full-time

About the role

The Poultry Farm Manager will lead all daily activities on our poultry farm in Song, Adamawa. You will be responsible for the health, welfare and productivity of the flock while ensuring strict bio‑security and compliance with regulations. This full‑time onsite role reports directly to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily feeding, watering, health monitoring and general care of the birds.
• Implement and maintain bio‑security protocols to prevent disease outbreaks.
• Supervise, train and schedule farm staff, ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards.
• Control environmental parameters in poultry houses, including temperature, ventilation and lighting.
• Coordinate with veterinarians for health checks, vaccinations and treatments.
• Record production data, feed consumption, mortality rates and other performance metrics.
• Develop and execute strategies to improve production efficiency and meet operational targets.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal poultry farming regulations.
• Prepare regular reports on farm performance for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Agriculture or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience managing poultry operations or similar livestock enterprises.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Commitment to high standards of animal welfare and bio‑security.
