Senior Full‑Stack Developer – Digital Payments & Platforms

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Full‑Stack Developer to lead the creation of a new digital product that powers music and educational content distribution in Cameroon. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable web and mobile solutions, with a focus on secure local payment integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Translate high‑level business objectives and user requirements into detailed technical specifications and an architectural roadmap.
• Design and implement end‑to‑end features, from database schema to responsive user interfaces for web and mobile platforms.
• Lead architectural planning, conduct code reviews, and enforce high quality and security standards.
• Integrate and maintain local payment gateways such as MTN Mobile Money and Orange Money, handling APIs, webhooks, and transaction logging.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and product managers to turn product visions into technical reality.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, build processes, and ensure smooth deployment cycles.
• Mentor junior developers, promote best practices, and contribute to documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of proven full‑stack development experience, including systems architecture and financial API integration.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑moving environment.

• Frontend: React, Next.js, Vue.js, Svelte, TypeScript, JavaScript, Tailwind CSS.
• Mobile: React Native, Flutter, Expo.
• Backend: Node.js, Python.
• Databases: MongoDB, PostgreSQL.
• API & Data: GraphQL.
• Payment integration: MTN Mobile Money, Orange Money.
• Design tools: Figma, Sketch.
• Build & Desktop: Electron.js, Webpack, Vite.
• Version control & DevOps: Git, CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployment, infrastructure management.
