About the role

We are looking for a strategic and analytical Market Specialist to support our team on a volunteer basis. In this remote, part‑time role you will help us understand market dynamics, uncover growth opportunities and shape our go‑to‑market strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive research on industry trends and emerging market opportunities.
• Map the competitive landscape, analysing rivals’ strengths, weaknesses, product offerings and positioning.
• Refine target buyer personas and identify underserved audience segments.
• Translate research findings into actionable strategic recommendations for marketing and operations.

Required profile

• 2–5+ years of experience in market research, marketing strategy, business analysis or a related field.
• Self‑starter who thrives in a remote, autonomous environment.
• Proactive communicator with a passion for the organization’s mission.

Required skills

• Strong analytical mindset with ability to synthesize complex data into clear executive summaries.
• Familiarity with SWOT, PESTLE and competitor matrix frameworks.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, Excel and basic analytics platforms.
