WordPress Web Designer – On-site in Yaoundé

About the role

We are looking for a creative WordPress Web Designer to join our team in Yaoundé. In this full-time, on-site position you will design, develop and maintain WordPress websites that reflect our clients’ brand identity and deliver an excellent user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design visually appealing website layouts and graphics aligned with brand guidelines.
• Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet functional requirements.
• Implement responsive design techniques to ensure optimal performance across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
• Write clean HTML, CSS and JavaScript code for front-end features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver projects on schedule.
• Perform regular website testing, debugging and performance optimisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in web design with a focus on WordPress sites.
• Strong eye for visual detail and ability to translate branding into digital designs.
• Good time-management skills and ability to meet project deadlines.
• A degree in Web Design, Computer Science or a related field is an advantage.
