Agent Liquidity Lead

About the role

Wave is looking for an Agent Liquidity Lead to oversee cash and liquidity operations across its agent network in Cameroon. You will ensure that agents have sufficient cash to meet customer demand while maintaining cost‑effectiveness and strict security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead a skilled team to support Wave’s fast‑growing environment in Cameroon.
• Develop structured processes and materials for a sustainable liquidity department.
• Monitor nationwide liquidity status, identify priority areas and devise innovative solutions.
• Plan and coordinate cash logistics among agents, banks, cash‑in‑transit firms and premium agents to achieve optimal monthly cash flow.
• Manage the agent network to minimise liquidity distress and ensure SLA compliance.
• Adhere to security standards, report challenges promptly and perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Fluency in French and English.
• 5+ years experience in cash movements, cash‑in‑transit or treasury operations.
• 2+ years experience managing a team.
• Work authorization for Cameroon.
