Agent Liquidity Lead

About the role

Wave is looking for an Agent Liquidity Lead to manage cash liquidity and operations across its agent network in Cameroon. You will ensure that agents have sufficient cash to meet customer demand while keeping costs low and adhering to strict security and service‑level standards.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead a dedicated team to support Wave’s fast‑growing environment in Cameroon.
• Develop structured processes and materials for a sustainable liquidity department.
• Monitor nationwide liquidity status, identify priority gaps and devise innovative solutions.
• Plan and coordinate cash logistics among agents, banks, cash‑in‑transit firms and premium agents to achieve optimal monthly cash flow.
• Maintain the agent network with minimal liquidity distress and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Report operational challenges promptly and perform any additional duties assigned by the line manager.

Required profile

• Fluency in French and English.
• At least 5 years of experience in cash movements, cash‑in‑transit or treasury functions.
• Minimum 2 years of experience managing a team.
• Legal authorization to work in Cameroon.
• Willingness to be based in Douala and travel frequently across the country.
