Beverage Operations Manager – United Airlines Lounges

About the role

The Beverage Operations Manager will lead bar operations across United Airlines lounges, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while meeting safety, sanitation, and financial targets. You will travel to key locations, support new lounge openings, and drive continuous improvement of beverage service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to and audit lounge locations (DEN, EWR, IAD, IAH, LAX, ORD, SFO).
• Own bar setup for new openings, train staff, and define operational standards.
• Implement and manage bar technologies and safety/sanitation practices.
• Maintain budgetary, quality, and service standards; oversee financial performance.
• Ensure program compliance for back‑bar displays, liquor, beer, and wine selections.
• Develop and enforce SOPs, recipe adherence, and portion controls.
• Collaborate with the Senior Director of Beverage to address performance gaps.
• Lead project management activities: scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder updates.
• Manage vendor contracts and monitor project performance for continuous improvement.
