Business Analyst – Enterprise Wallet Platform (5‑month contract)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a FinTech client in Cameroon on a 5‑month contract. The role bridges Business, Product, and Engineering teams to translate market demand into functional specifications for a next‑generation mobile app and digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Map customer journeys and lead design‑thinking workshops.
• Write high‑quality Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), and User Stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Own and groom the product backlog, ensuring end‑to‑end requirement traceability.
• Collaborate with Architecture to assess technical feasibility and support UAT planning, execution, and production sign‑off.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of total experience, with at least 3 years in FinTech, digital banking, or mobile money environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies and familiarity with BABOK principles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration.
• Relevant certifications (CBAP/CCBA, CSPO/PSPO, ITIL) are a plus.
